Bluffworks revolutionized the travel clothing industry with its line of stylish but comfortable performance-wear, but until recently, the clothes were only designed for men. Bluffworks just launched a brand-new women’s line, and I got to be one of the first to test it out.
Bluffworks’ Women’s Line Review:
Price and Where to Buy: Bluffworks’ women’s line starts at $36 (the current sale price of a T-shirt from the line at the time of writing). All items are available on Bluffworks’ website.
The Bluffworks’ Women’s Line:
Threshold Performance T-Shirt
The Threshold T-shirt will be the only tee you ever want to pack from now on. It has a feminine (non-boxy) silhouette, but isn’t too form-fitting. The fabric is lightweight but not see-through, and is breathable and stretchy. It even offers sun protection of UPF 50+. The material is odor and wrinkle-resistant, so you can get away with wearing this shirt multiple times on one trip.
Azores Blouse
Many women’s button-downs have a frustrating gap between the chest buttons. Bluffworks has solved this issue on its Azores Blouse by adding an extra snap between buttons to ensure the perfect (gap-free) fit. A front placket hides the buttons, giving a cleaner look with the same classic button-down style. The fabric feels like silk, but is machine washable (and dryable), odor-resistant, and extremely comfortable. The arms have elastic cuffs, making it easy to push the sleeves up without looking awkward.
Trevi Pant
The Trevi Pants are now part of my go-to plane uniform. These trousers look pulled-together, but are comfortable enough to wear for an all-night flight. They’re made from a polyester/spandex twill weave blend that gives the right amount of stretch without sagging, they and look professional enough to wear right off the plane. The hem is adjustable, so you can make sure you have the perfect length for you. The wide waistband has a side closure that prevents the pants from digging in when you sit down (even after an indulgent meal). Best of all, these pants hide eight pockets throughout, including three zippered pockets for valuables.
Trevi Dress
The Trevi Dress is the most versatile dress you’ll own. It’s scoop-neck isn’t too low, and the hem isn’t too high, so it’s appropriate in almost all environments. The sleeveless dress can be worn on its own in the summer, or paired with warm tights, boots, and a cardigan for winter trips. Sewn-in bra snaps at the shoulders let you wear a regular bra without worrying about the straps showing. Inside this dress you’ll find six cleverly placed pockets that won’t interfere with the shape of your outfit, but will still hold everything you need. The Trevi Dress looks like it should be dry-clean only, but it’s actually machine washable.
