Imagine doing your laps in a rooftop pool 10 stories above the ground, and then all of a sudden you swim over the edge. Terrified? That’s what it looks like a the pool at The Joule, a Dallas hotel with a super cool pool. (Okay, enough rhyming.) The pool stretches out eight feet beyond the main hotel building, so the only thing between swimmers and the street is a thick pane of glass. If you’re not brave enough to take a dip, the view from underneath is pretty neat too.

Don’t want to get wet? Lounge on the deck and pool attendants will come spritz you with lavender mists and clean your sunglasses, or sip Watermelon Sangria while playing foosball.
